History

RENO is taken from the first syllables of the owner’s first names. RE for Rene and No stands for Noemi. RENO Digital Photography & Design was established in 2004 after Rene & Noemi’s very own wedding in Cagayan de Oro. At that time, Digital Photography was still relatively new and you had to source out Photographers from Manila or Cebu  for the job. We felt that the timing and the market was ready for the brand of photography we had to offer.

Without any advertising and relying mainly on referrals of friends and former clients, our little enterprise born out of our passion for photography and service has grown steadily. With the encouragement and support of our loyal clientele, we have finally opened a fully equipped digital photography studio in Cagayan de Oro.  This is the 1st studio to offer a real professional studio set up for portraiture and the 1st to offer large format digital prints. We wanted to expand our line of services to our clients to include portraiture, children, pets, food and commercial photography. We built the studio to make our services more accessible to our clients while still maintaining the quality that should go with any professionally taken image.

For professional quality photography and images, see for your selves how we can help you achieve the vision you want for your business, product, event, your loved ones and of course, our most important client, YOU.

The Photographer

René katuin was born in Nijimegen, The Netherlands. His passion for photograpy began in his early 20's while working as an IT consultant for ABN-AMRO Bank. Although he has shot some weddings in Holland, his medium of choice was Landscape Photography. However, his own "Pinoy Wedding" made him realize how interesting Wedding Photography could be in the Philippines.

"It is very different in Europe where most weddings are simple civil rites attended by 30-50 people. Here, you get to witness a full-scale production, complete with all the elements that would make for a nice feel-good movie. You have drama, comedy, action, and suspense all rolled into one. Pinoy weddings are fun!" says René.

His strong background in Digital lay-out/editing, his eye for detail, and an innate sense of capturing the most poignant moments of a wedding is what makes him a class of his own.
